A Bonnie Lass – Highland Cow

A Bonnie Lass – Highland Cow. This bright vibrant girl resides in a local farm.  I visit at least once a week as there is wonderful farm shop to get some very yummy local vegetables.  I just love to visit this family which consists of four hairy highlands,  I took the original photograph for the painting which was on a very cold and damp day and her nose was so wet that I just knew that I wanted to paint her.   I love to create this contemporary style of work with its bright pinks and turquoise to bring a little bit of modernity to what would be a very traditional styled topic.

There will be a print run of 100 limited editions which are signed and numbered by the artist. It is printed on Hahnemulhe Fine Art Photo Rag paper 308gsm.
