Custom Elephant Painting
Commissioned Birthday Gift
My biggest commission to date. A 1.8 x 1.6m elephant. I even stretched my own canvas too!! This was a surprise present for my clients wife who loves animals and who is planning to go on a wildlife safari. I used liquitex acrylic and some fantastic Montana Gold acrylic spray paint to create the background of the bush and using squirty bottles to put in the grasses in gold, and the pop of teal and fleshy peach to give this painting a blast of contemporary.
Two words from the client “Blown Away” was enough for me ………
Beautiful Classic Racing Commission
How privileged I was to spend the day with The Coyne family for The Patrick Coyne Memorial Race at Haydock Park Racecourse 22nd Jan 2022. The winning owners were presented by myself with an original ink & watercolour racing themed painting commissioned by The Coyne’s. The trainer of the winning horse Minella Drama was non other than Donald McCain son of the famous Ginger McCain (Red Rum) so made even more special. A wonderful day was had by all to celebrate Patrick’s huge love of life and horse racing.
