The Duel

THE DUEL – The image of two stags tussling for supremacy.  A very common sight in mating season, the males will spar with each other using their antlers to establish dominance and claim females. Antlers are also useful for defense against other deer and predators. The large antlers are the feature here stuck together in the Duel.  This contemporary style of work and bright pinks bring a little bit of modernity to what would be a very traditional styled painting.

A print run of 100 limited editions which are signed and numbered by the artist. It is printed on Hahnemulhe Photo Rag paper 308gsm.
